Amanda Jensen

UX Research & Design Strategy

Amanda Jensen is a Los Angeles-based researcher, strategist, designer, and educator known for transforming constraints into paradigm-shifting opportunities. Her cross-disciplinary expertise spans media and speculative design, tech, film, and cultural foresight—making her a powerful bridge between emerging technologies and human-centered narratives.

Amanda partners with cross-functional teams to build rapid-research frameworks and pioneering co-design prototypes for AI-driven products, grounding visionary ideas in robust qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method approaches. Through immersive scenarios and hands-on toolkits, she invites critical dialogue and collaboration—equipping communities to navigate cultural and political change with creativity and agency.

Her storytelling practice is equally expansive, from producing documentaries that elevate marginalized voices on Netflix, Apple TV, and Prime Video, to using satire and subliminal methods to decode cultural trends and tensions.

A dedicated mentor and educator, Amanda has served as a guest critic, juror, and lecturer at ArtCenter College of Design, Tyler School of Art & Architecture, and beyond.
